→ IN CHARACTER CHARACTERISTICS ←

→ PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Average height and on the slender side, Piper is half-Cherokee and has tan skin (clear of any imperfections, thanks Mom) and dark brown hair. She cuts it herself with a pair of orange safety scissors so it's usually choppy and uneven with braids running through it, sometimes with feathers tied to the end of her braids. Her eyes constantly change colors, from blue to green to brown to every possible color like a kaleidoscope. No matter how long you stare at them, it's impossible to settle on a color. She has a simple style, a mix between tomboy and girly -- she favors jeans and combat boots or converse with Hello Kitty tanks tops. Or her Cherokee Eagle pajamas. (They're very cute, don't you judge.)
→ DEMEANOR: Generally cheerful, Piper has an openness about her that is very appealing. She's incredibly compassionate and kind and puts 100% into every relationship she has, whether it be romantic, platonic, or familial. Diverging from the typical "Aphrodite" girl, Piper is wholly friendly and down to earth, she doesn't seem to care about her looks even a little bit. She can be more aggressive than her siblings as well, not backing down from a fight even if it means winding up covered in mud and muck and she has an absolute no bullying policy. She doesn't feel like much of a hero, but she's growing into that role.
→ ABILITIES: Piper is a demigod and has a few basic demigod powers that come with her half-divinity. Like most demigods she has ADD and dyslexia which is the fault of inborn supernatural battle reflexes and senses used to analyze the fighting style of her opponents in battle and the fact that her brain is hardwired to read and write Ancient Greek, respectively. She's also in pretty good physical condition due to training at Camp Half-Blood and is trained in both bladed and ranged weaponry though she's best with a dagger and a sword. Demigods are also prone to occasionally prophetic dreams when in times of stress or war. She also possesses a couple Aphrodite specific powers:

→ CHARMSPEAK: is a type of hypnotism or persuasion in which it allows the speaker to convince someone else to do or get whatever they want. The strength of the command depends on the tone and the emotion of the charmspeaker's voice, as well as their skill with it. Eventually, charmspeak wears off and the person has no recollection of why they did what they were commanded to do. Charmspeak can be negated through a number of ways. It has a diminished effect on other charmspeakers. It is neutralized by the power of gold (though not necessarily by gold itself, but rather the magical ability to turn people to gold). People with strong wills or intentions are unaffected, and the more powerful the being, the stronger their resistance. If someone is aware of a persons ability to charmspeak, then it will have a reduced effect as they will be on guard in case they are the subject to it. Also, beings of the same gender tend to have some resistance to charmspeak, as Ma Gasket wasn't affected by Piper's power, although her two sons were. Piper also wasn't able to charmspeak Khione, because "wind gods are creatures of chaos."
→ AMOKINESIS: is the ability to control the emotion of love or desire. The rares instances of Piper using this are unconsciously distracting her boyfriend when he's talking to her (perceived) rival and her ability to "see the possibilities" of relationships, notably her own. It also displays itself in her is ability to radiate beauty, regardless of how she may look. This ability sometimes prevents enemy forces from willingly attacking her, even as she charges them head-on. She is able to speak French fluently due to it being the "language of love."

→ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Piper is in top physical condition and tries to keep that up with running, exercising and practicing her swordplay with Hazel/Jason/whomever is around to beat her up. She is used to sleeping in shifts for watch so even when she can get a full eight hours, she is prone to waking up every few hours regardless, though it's easy for her to fall asleep again. She's vegetarian, but she is careful to maintain her diet so she gets all the vitamins and nutrition that she needs. She eats a ton of fruit. Fruit is the best. Yay fruit!
→ MENTAL INFORMATION: Incredibly resilient, Piper does have a wealth of self-doubt and a smidgen of survivor's guilt tied into that, but is, for the most part, a healthy sixteen year old. She also misses her dad, like so much, and has typical abandonment issues of kids who don't meet one of their parents until they're fifteen.
→ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Racism. Piper is half-Cherokee and was teased a lot in her childhood so terms like half-blood and half-breed get her hackles up. Other pejoratives for Native Americans do much the same and she is in a perpetual state of 100% done with bullies and Mean Girls.

→ PHYSICAL CONTACT: Yep, go for it!
→ MENTAL CONTACT: Ditto. Depending on the circumstance she may or may not resist, but if it's non-violent or noninvasive she probably won't mind. (Even if she does, go for it, okay!)
→ DEVICE HACKING: Do it. She's not technologically savvy and demigods aren't prone to phones and stuff because it tends to send up a beacon to monsters. Anything she locks can be unlocked with a level one pick from Skyrim tbh.
→ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go for it, but she will definitely fight back.
→ PSYCHOLOGICAL VIOLENCE: Also go for it. She will still fight back!
→ DEATH: While she is a demigod, she is in no way immortal and is, in fact, more vulnerable to death because she can be killed by monsters and mortals alike. She's not particularly robust either. But, you know, case by case basis, if it needs to happen we can figure something out and I'm always down for death. :D

→ While I will always ask, by PM or plurk or OOC note in tags prior, if you'd like to completely opt out of Piper ever using her charmspeak and/or amokinesis on your character(s), just let me know in a comment here which characters this will affect and I will make sure it doesn't come up. On the other hand, if you me to not bother asking and just go where the wind takes us, you are also free to let me know. ♥
